About AnimeGems
Find your next obsession.
AnimeGems is a discovery site for anime and manga fans who want better recommendations than the same ten titles repeated everywhere.
What it does
Search, filter, and browse anime and manga by genre, age rating, score, popularity, and hidden-gem potential. Open any title to see details, characters, recommendations, and where to watch or buy it. Every day we feature one daily pick: an overlooked show with a short write-up on why it's worth your time and who it's for.
Why it exists
Great shows and manga get buried constantly. AnimeGems is built to surface the good stuff: overlooked classics, strong niche picks, seasonal finds, and reliable fan favorites. The goal is to help fans spend less time hunting and more time watching, reading, and finding stories that fit their mood.
How it works
AnimeGems combines catalog data, community scores, character data, and availability links into one cleaner browsing experience. Catalog details come from community databases including AniList, MyAnimeList and Kitsu; streaming availability comes from JustWatch and official services. Synopses are credited to their original source. Daily picks are drafted with AI assistance from that catalog data, then reviewed and edited by AnimeGems before they're published.
A quick note
AnimeGems does not host anime or manga. It points you toward official streaming services, publishers, retailers, and reference pages. Availability varies by region and some outbound links may be out of date. If you spot one, let us know.
AnimeGems is made by McKittrick Studios, a McKittrick LLC company.
